TERN's inception was a fusion of two powerful insights. Our CEO and Founder, Avinav, moved to the UK and experienced firsthand the complexities of relocation and migration. During his tenure at a prop-tech startup, he observed the acute skilled talent shortage across various sectors in the UK, Europe, and the Gulf. At the same time, he saw many talented Indian professionals struggling to find fair opportunities and often falling victim to unethical recruitment practices. This inspired the creation of TERN, a comprehensive, transparent, efficient platform designed to seamlessly connect skilled talent with recruiters, addressing the challenges faced by both sides.

This bird's resilience to reach its destination inspired our founder Avinav Nigam, an IIT Bombay alumnus and veteran of leading global tech firms like IMMO Capital, CARS24, and PayU. He built TERN to revolutionise international recruitment through a combination of proprietary technology, dedicated teams with a know-how of the cultures and nuances of different markets, and an unending well of empathy.
